Winter Housing Marketing

Title:

Student Housing - Winter Housing Marketing Materials

Task:

The goal of this project was to revamp the previous year’s social media posts for Winter Housing Marketing Materials. Due to the pandemic, a lot of students did not come to campus. For the Winter Quarter, more housing opened up for first year and transfer students. I created social media Instagram story posts to advertise to student the benefits of living on campus.

Process:

As the graphics were to be used to advertise UC Davis Housing, I looked for inspiration on cartoon style buildings. Before getting started on Illustrator, I did a quick sketch of how I wanted to lay out the main graphic. Once I finalized the main graphic, I broke it up into multiple images to be able to include more information. For the background, I created a gradient background to match how the sky often looks during sunset in Davis.
